Sarah Paul is the newest addition to the legal team at Rinehardt Injury Attorneys. She brings strong advocacy skills, academic excellence, and a solid foundation in trial practice developed through extensive competitive trial experience and hands-on courtroom work. Sarah is committed to client-focused representation and approaches every case with preparation, precision, and professionalism.
Sarah earned her Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where she distinguished herself as a leader in trial advocacy and lawyering skills. She was a longstanding member of Ohio State’s nationally recognized Trial Team, achieving exceptional competitive success at both the regional and national levels. Her accomplishments include being named National Champion in the Gold Cup National Championship, along with honors for Best Written Motion, Best Direct Examination, and Best Cross Examination. In 2025, Sarah was also the winner of the Top Gun Mock Trial Competition in Waco, Texas, an elite, winner-take-all invitational that brings together the top trial advocates from across the country.
In addition to her advocacy achievements, Sarah earned CALI Awards for Academic Excellence in Criminal Law and Trial Practice, recognizing her as the top-performing student in those courses. She held several leadership positions on the Moot Court Governing Board, including Chief Justice, where she oversaw Ohio State’s lawyering skills programs and internal competitions. Sarah also served as Managing Editor of the Ohio State Journal of Criminal Law, further sharpening her legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Sarah gained valuable real-world courtroom experience working with the Franklin County Public Defender’s Office, where she served as Head Municipal Law Clerk. In that role, she conducted extensive client intakes, supported attorneys throughout arraignment, pretrial, and trial proceedings, and trained and mentored dozens of law clerks. Her experience also includes work with private counsel on trial preparation and legislative research with the Ohio Criminal Sentencing Commission, where she focused on record sealing and expungement.
Sarah graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, earning a perfect 4.0 GPA. As an undergraduate, she was a nationally ranked mock trial attorney, receiving multiple All-American, Outstanding Attorney, and All-Regional Attorney honors, and competing at the national level multiple times.
